This is from an ad I have on kijiji:

I am Looking for a Bachelor/1 Bedroom apartment to rent for October first.

I will require 1 parking spot, and separate entrance. Preferably utilities included, laundry and yard/balconey. Preferably in Durham Region/Scugog area.

About me: My name is Matt, 38 Years old, and have a 4 year old daughter.

In the past 2 years I have gone through a separation from my daughter’s mother, and wrongful dismissal from my previous employment (still in court). After that, I was staying with my mother, who lives on first nation land. I was forced to leave because I am not native, or else they would kick my mother out if I stayed.

I sleep in my car, my credit is ruined, and I am desperate to find somewhere affordable and private to live.

I have just been approved for ODSP (on OW until my file is transferred). I also work part time as a delivery driver for skip the dishes, and doing odd renovation jobs for a few contractors.

Once my ODSP goes through I will be guaranteed $1300 a month, plus my part time income.

If there is anybody that can help me with affordable housing please message me. I will consider anything close to what I am asking for.

Willing to consider a roommate for a 2 bedroom, if the stars align and I find the right person. I’m quiet, keep to myself, don’t have many guests, rarely drink, very handy, all around pretty easy going.
