After Iiving in BC for over 4 decades I moved to Ottawa in December of 2022. Unfortunately, I was unable to continue renting a shared townhouse because of the high rent. I spent the last 3 months in Kitchener and will be returning to the Ottawa area. I am hoping to rent a room in a rancher-style home or a ground level suite, or a studio or bachelor apartment in a building with an elevator. An ensuite bathroom would be preferable. I am a senior who is unable to navigate stairs without difficulty. I always pay rent before the 1st of the month, am clean, quiet and respectful of others. I need a quiet space where I can continue my writing. I am looking for a month-to-month rental.
