Hello,

My name is Svenga, I’m looking for a place to live in Nanaimo as I will be starting a Bachelor of Education program at VIU at the beginning of September. I’m looking for somewhere that’s available September 1st to move in. I’m happy to live with roommates, in fact, that would be my preference. I enjoy outdoor activities, including skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and I’m hoping to do a bit more surfing once I’m living in Nanaimo. I’m a fairly devoted mountain biker and will definitely need some space to store bikes. I don’t smoke or drink. I’m ok living with people who drink though. I’m also ok with roommates using cannabis, but I’d prefer non cigarette smokers. Although I’m not one to throw parties, I do like to have a friend or two over from time to time to hang out. Ideally I would be able to offer a place to crash for a night to some of my friends who might be passing through town. I’m happy to live in a house with pets. I love dogs and would be happy to take a dog on some trail adventures. Frankly, I would say my bedroom is usually a little bit messy, but I’m quite mindful to keep shared spaces clean. I lived with roommates all through my undergrad at Quest University. For 2 years I worked a job that had me living in various types of accommodations with a group of about 16 people.
