Ninta Ayeris

My name is Ninta, and I’m a 24-year-old female graduate student in SIAT at SFU Surrey, focusing on HCI. I’m looking to move out of my current place because it’s too far from transit and school.

I’m a very clean and tidy person. I’m okay with noise since I’m a heavy sleeper and don’t mind it (but no parties though). No smoking, no drugs, but I drink once in a while, not with people just with myself. Ideally, I’d like to have just one or two roommates and a private bathroom. I would also like to be able to have visitors: they would be staying with me in my room, as I’m okay with having someone over in the house/room.

I enjoy cooking, mainly Southeast and East Asian food, but I prefer not to have heavy cooking or really strong smells since I’m sensitive to odors. My hobbies include listening to music, watching sports espc. NBA (go kings!💜) & tv shows, playing instruments, and reading. I like staying in on weekends, but I also enjoy going to parks and walking around. It would be great if we could hike and explore nature together.

I’m fluent in English and Indonesian, and I can speak Japanese.

My budget is around $1000-1200, including all utilities, and I would love to live in the Burnaby area near transit. Having a private bathroom is also important to me. Please let me know if you’d like to know more or if you’re interested in being my roommate!
