First and foremost, I am a skilled cook - I worked in the culinary field for 10 years and while I don’t love becoming the person who always cooks for the household, I definitely love contributing to the organization of the kitchen and making great food pretty often for the household (I also have a lot of cooking stuff, is the only drawback here). Just don’t use my nice knives (:

I have always preferred small get togethers to parties, and don’t like having bigger events at home because of the possibility for strangers, problems, drama, and theft.

I have several of the common courtesies you’d expect from a human, like the basic ability to understand that a person shouldn’t slam doors/cabinets late at night, or blast their audio when people want to be sleeping. This one is surprisingly rare, it’s like some people don’t understand how sound works or have the common sense to at least try to be quiet.

Above anything else, I should want to find a situation where I’m not “that guy renting the spare room” and treated as if I don’t have rights or advocacy - I’ve been in situations where someone will avoid having the newest roomie having contact info for the landlord and essentially try to act as a landlord themselves, and thus hold all the cards. At best, this will never feel like I truly have a home, and at worst people can use this to just generally be dicks. Respect is a two way street (:
