Hiiiii, I’m Michelle, I’m looking for a room or to team up with a female preferably within my age range to look for a place to rent AFTER April but before September 1st. I have a flexible lease, so I can get someone to sublet my room at any time with notice. I don’t mind living in a house with many people as long as it’s clean. I also do not mind taking over someone’s lease. I’m a third-year student at the University of Toronto Mississauga. I’m relatively clean because I have an allergy to dust mites, so I like to keep my area clean (Which also means no apartments with carpets….sorry, and lots of fresh air). I need natural light because I come from a country that’s on the equator so sessional depression hits harder in the winter months without it, so no basements.
If you approve, my dad works internationally and can be my guarantor because it’s the best option for me as an international student. I’m looking for something close to the UofT campus so I can commute more easily like Kensington Market, Yorkville, or The Annex). I currently live near Yonge-dundas so I’m trying to move away from that area. I want to make my place homey and not have to move again cause construction is coming up next door.
I’m an ambivert, so I love my space but would also like to develop a friendship with my roommate or roommates. I like to cook and bake my own food, so a kitchen with some space would be nice.
