I’m a well rounded mature global citizen, who presently does film & construction work to keep the bills in hand. In shared housing I usually follow the cues of my roommates: i.e., I can be neat, when everyone else is neat. And vice versa. A well run co-op house usually has a chore wheel or some other organised means to keeping common spaces & responsibilities flowing smoothly. I try to avoid the “Tyranny of Structurelessness” through clear communications. Ideally, I’d love to share a space that had room for a functional workshop, whether in a basement or garage/out building.
