-I am looking for a home. Happy to stay a year or longer; -I need to consider distance from work, gas money and parking as well; -Regarding ‘teaming up’: I am not able to take the lead on a place. I am happy to join if you have a place in mind / already secured; -I’d prefer something in Ontario; -I am a quiet person and keep to myself; -looking for small apartment, room, heated outer building / garage, or a place to leave a camper should I buy one. -unfurnished or furnished. My needs:

• private room, access to internet /bathroom / shower / kitchen / laundry, parking (spot or confirmation there is no spot so I can get a city permit);
• drug free property including no 420: i have allergies, and prefer no smoking inside and not in front of main door either. I am not a ‘party’ guy;
• cleanliness (kitchen counters, floors, bathroom, entryways, pet areas and property. I am happy to take my turn cleaning, doing yard stuff, moving snow around if needed. also happy to help make better shelving / storage if needed for all;
• quiet hours at night. sleep is important, i use headphones for tv / computer in the mornings and after 9 or 10. that said i like white noise at night (fans, laundry machines, dishwashers etc.) just not random, loud, late night sports / music / gaming on work nights.

My wants / nice to have:

• utilities inclusive, just easier to manage one bill;
• a/c or allowed to use a small floor model in my room if needed: it mostly dehumidifies at night so i can sleep properly, and keeps me from needing an expensive apnea set-up;
• laundry in unit or building would be great;
• private bathroom would be awesome;
• elevator over only stairs in apt buildings, much easier to move things on carts.

My budget is $650ish for a room, and around $950-1050 for a studio / bachelor that gives me enough space to empty my storage spot and put the money towards rent. -I do not have a co-signer: no family living nor any friends I could ask. Can pay in cash, e-transfer, or postdated cheques. Prefer month-to-month if possible; -Open to a new lease, no lease, sublet, sublet with lease takeover. -I am a non-smoker, no drug use, no pets, no plants. I am ok with your pets and plants for the most part. -I work full-time.

I was hoping to have found a place by now, and am now setting a realistic goal for moving before or on April 1st, depending on rental cost and need deposits / last month etc.
