Hi,

My name is Faisal and I am currently living in downtown Vancouver. I am looking for a spacious private room with a private washroom for myself in downtown/west-end Vancouver.

Work/Profession: I work full-time as an IT Consultant.

Age/Gender: 30’s/Male.

Interests/Hobbies: I love being in the mountains and try to spend my weekends hiking and scrambling in the beautiful mountains that surround us. A few times a year, if work situation allows, I also go for backpacking. Last year, it was one of the most active years for me in terms of backpacking trips, Argentinian Patagonia and a few trips to the Canadian Rockies. I also picked up photography pretty early in my teens and I still enjoy doing it often - landscapes, streets and portrait photography are my favorite.

Personality/Habits: I consider myself fairly easy going and friendly. I am generally a quiet guy but can open up in the right company. I am clean and appreciate clean and tidy places. Also, I am mature and respectful of people and their choices and expect the same in return. I don’t smoke and do not have a pet.

Shared living: I have lived with roommates at different times in the past, so I have an experience of shared and communal living. I understand the dynamics of living together with other people and the joys as well as the responsibilities it entails.

Move-in/Move-out dates: Provided I can get the right place with the right vibe, I would prefer long term since I plan to be in Vancouver for the near future and moving frequently is not easy.

References: I can readily provide references from my landlord and employer if/when required.
