My name is Chris, I’m a 32 year old German who’s in Victoria temporarily. I work here and currently stay in a hostel on a monthly rental deal. However, they phase out these deals by the end of May and I would like to stay in Vic until the 6th of July when I will leave the island to travel more of Canada.

Thus, I am looking for a place to stay from June 1st till July 6th. Before I came to Canada I have been living on my own for two years and in shared apartments during most of my studies and the beginning of my working life. But I am not fixed on any particular way of living during the five weeks. I could see myself living in a shared apartment, a homestay or whatever else you might have in mind for me.

Some hard facts: I don’t own a car so I am dependent on easily accessible public transport towards downtown and if possible I would prefer not paying more than $1000 in total.

I am a tidy person, I am always looking after myself and the space I occupy. I am friendly and outgoing, I love sharing stories, I am an active person who loves hiking, swimming and singing. But I am also good with giving other people space. I work evenings 5-6 times a week but I’d be around during the days and happy to help with whatever needs to be done if you’re a family and would like to host me.
