Hi,

My name is Joel. I am a single 26 year old Canadian originally from Edmonton, but have been working remotely out of Sydney Australia for 6-months. I am planning to come back to Edmonton June 1 to September 8 to spend time with friends and family prior to finalizing my relocation to Australia, and have yet to secure accommodations.

I live a healthy lifestyle and try to be active daily with things like gym sessions, river valley runs, swimming, hiking, etc. I play Australian football, lacrosse, and am getting my hours in to obtain my private pilot license.

I work as a project engineer. Sometimes I choose to work from home, other days I may take my laptop with me to a cafe or a co-working space.

I will treat your home as if it is my own. I take initiative on cleaning up after myself, and don’t mind splitting workloads for periodic tasks (e.g., mowing lawn, watering plants). Clean environment = clean mind = :-) Joel. I would not pair well with people who leave multi-day messes in shared spaces…

Though I love cats and have lived with them in the past, I am mildly allergic and would prefer there not be indoor cats where I live. Dogs though, 10000% GOOD.

I am down for the occasional team-cooked dinner and/or some drinks.

I am tool-literate and can likely help with minor home-maintenance items.

I enjoy going out on weekends. Big on dancing, electronic music, festivals, concerts, and karaoke! I will of course be respectful of my roomies.
