Hi! My name’s Shannon!

I’m a 22 year old student / young professional looking for a room in a place with other girls starting August or September (though August is preferred, I am open). Ideally looking for a place with other young professionals or graduate students. I graduated from Carleton in 2023 with an undergrad in psychology and then this past year I went to Toronto for a college program but now I am headed back to Ottawa for an internship connected with that program.

I will be working in Vanier so I am looking for something closer to that like around UOttawa, The Glebe, Centre Town, Old Ottawa South etc.. My budget is around 500-700$

A few important things about me is that:

• I do have a dog, his name is Maverick (aka Mavey) he’s a lab mix and is 7 years old. He’s very well behaved and quiet. I often get people telling me “he’s the chillest dog I’ve ever met!” lol I compare him to a cat in dog form. He’s also crate trained, and will be kenneled when I am not around.
• I also have a car so I’ll need a place with a parking spot (street parking is okay).
• And lastly, I unfortunately also have a cat allergy so cannot live somewhere with a cat :(

Now for a little more about what I’m like! I’m respectful, quiet and clean. I love to hangout with my roommates for a cup of tea or a girl’s night anytime but also equally enough my solo down time. I enjoy walking my dog and spending as much time as I can outside and I’m an avid reader.

I’ve had lots of experience living with roommates and I enjoy the camaraderie of sharing a home with similar like minded people.
