Hello! I’m Amanda, and I live with my two amazing Australian Shepherds, Gus and Jack. They’re well-trained and not at all yappy—Gus just barks to greet visitors (he’s excited), while Jack only gets vocal if something spooks him (like large scary packages). Both are extremely lovable. If you’re not an absolute dog lover, then I’m sorry, we won’t be a good fit. They’re like my kids so I want to be comfortable with whomever we choose to live with knowing they will love them all the same either when I’m there or when I’m gone.

By day, I run my own paint company across the city, giving me flexibility in location. A yard is a priority for the pups (I handle all cleanup, of course). Ideally, I’d like a central location with a touch of nature—neighborhoods such as Westboro, Hintonburg, Alta Vista, or the Glebe are perfect. I’m not opposed to Nepean or Barrhaven though if all the other boxes are checked off.

Evenings, I’m often out with my dogs, hitting the gym, or cooking and unwinding in a spotless home (yes, even with two dogs). Weekends are for adventures with the boys, socializing, and downtime—I’m an extroverted introvert who values alone time.

I’m looking for a female roommate who wants to share a home, not just a room. However, the right male roommate could work too. Looking for someone who is relatively quiet at home, respectful, communicates, clean, and easy to get along with (and obv loves dogs). Send me a message if you think we’d be a good fit!
