Hi! I’m Mattia, a 31-year-old guy from Italy, moving to Vancouver on February 27th with a one-year open work permit. I’m on the lookout for a place to stay starting from April 15th. In Italy, I worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist, and I’m keen on finding a marketing job in Vancouver, although I’m open to new experiences.

After work hours, I like to engage in some sports. I noticed there are Voguing classes in Vancouver, and I might do some jogging too. Usually, I do sports two-three times per week. If there are programmed house chores, I am more than pleased to adhere to them. Even if there aren’t, I keep my space clean and tidy. I enjoy very much cooking Italian and Japanese cuisine, exploring vegetarian/vegan meals. I can cook nice Carbonara or Tiramisù!

I consider myself a creative soul. During my free time, I enjoy activities like creating collages, drawing, working on graphics on my computer, dancing, attending concerts, exploring museums, art exhibitions, and visiting historical venues. I also have a soft spot for video games, especially indie ones, although lately, I haven’t had much time to indulge in them. I’m a fan of movies, particularly those by Yorgos Lanthimos, and musicals.

I value my alone time, but I also enjoy socializing, making new friends (that’s why I am looking for shared housing), and loves to chat, sharing life experiences, and go clubbing once in a while.
