Hi, my name is Rafael and I am a 29 year old male student currently working a part-time sales job. I have been living with my mother since March and have started school this Sept, so I feel that it’s time for me to be more independent and move out. I tend to spend half my time indoors but I am a quiet person who keeps to themselves while appreciating some socializing. When I’m around friends, I’m pretty high energy and charismatic. I own a small pet aquatic turtle that lives in a 20 gallon tank 24/7, so I love all animals and am more than willing to share a space with them. During my leisure time I enjoy occasional gaming with friends, watching videos, or just binging shows in my room at a low volume. I am not the type to leave music in the background but when I do I keep it low as well. For one or two of my days off I usually go on outings with friends so I am usually away from home half the time on top of school and 3+ days of work. I am a very clean oriented person in terms of the tools and spaces I use whether it is for cooking or the bathroom. My ideal living conditions are to simply have my space respected when I am in my room, for there to be mutual understanding on organization of shared amenities, for us to have an acceptable level of cleanliness, shared responsibility of chores to promote healthy living conditions, and agreed levels of volume throughout the house especially to accommodate each other’s bed and study times. I do usually go to bed late at midnight, as my shifts now tend to be between noon to closing at 9pm. I am very open to communication so I am always open to feedback for any accommodations or compromises that we could agree upon for a happy home.
