Hello, My name is Ariah and I’m here searching on behalf of my client who is looking to rent a room. I work for a non-for-profit agency in the city and our housing programs work directly with families and adults in the community who have experienced challenges finding affordable housing. We provide long-term case management and access to a variety of supports in the community and we also provide a rental subsidy, which we pay directly to the landlord monthly to assist with affordability. If the client is on social assistance benefits, we can also set up a third-party payment to have their portion of the rent directly sent to you each month.
