Aly

Hello! My name is Aly, a late thirties pilot, engineer, salty sailor, traveller and just a merry frolicker! That’s the bite-sized version :) I currently live in Kits in a tiny basement suite where I bump my head everywhere, so looking for a comfier space and a new tribe.

I’m laid-back, easy-going and lead a calm life at home. I enjoy mingling with my housemates, sharing some outdoor adventures or a tasty dinner, but I’m also an independent soul, just as happy chasing my own projects and respect everyone’s personal space and alone time. I pull my weight with the house chores and like to keep the common areas a clean and welcoming refuge. I don’t smoke, don’t have pets and welcome open communication to resolve any snags.

In terms of pastimes, I enjoy being outdoors and up in the mountains or in the cockpit whenever I can. I do a lot of sailing as well, on small cats and dinghies out of Jericho and occasionally some coastal cruising on larger liveaboards. I’ve also been an avid dancer for years and am looking forward to getting back into it after a little hiatus.
