Hey there, so I’ll preface this by saying I had an old roommate reach out and say I’m the best roomie she has ever had. Mostly because I tend to keep to myself, I always clean up after myself, and I’m sympathetic to the needs of the people I’m living with. I’m moving out for the 2nd time in my life. I moved out at 18 and came home to go to school 3.5 years later. Now I’m at the end of my 3rd year of school, I’ve got full-time work in my area of expertise, I’m focusing deeply on building healthy long-term habit, and staying with my family is not the healthiest course of action for my continued development. Basically, it would be cool to find a roommate who is chill about things, but also maintains themselves, keeps everything clean within reason, and is sympathetic to the needs of other people living with them.
