Looking in: Little Italy Downtown, Toronto, ON.
Description
Hi! I’m a law student (she/they) and am looking for a long-term shared apartment (pref 1 other roommate max) / shared house situation starting in the fall – I currently live alone and am weighing a move to downtown and would love to find a roommate to share costs.
I’m looking to be no further west than Christie station and between Dupont - Spadina. Easy access to the TTC is pretty high on my list. I’m hoping to keep as much of my furniture as possible (I have essentially a 1bd full of stuff so am looking for a BIG bedroom and/or someone who isn’t coming with much)
I’m (preferably) looking for COVID-cautious roommates; I mask in public transport + indoor public spaces and am up to date on all my vaccinations. I’d love to talk through and negotiate a situation that keeps us all happy and healthy.
I’m pretty quiet and keep to myself + relatively tidy + a big fan of cleaning and am looking for roommates who also vibe with that! Hoping to find roommates who will commit to shared chores + not huge partiers + will take their shoes off inside the house + want to hang out in common spaces on occasion. LGBT+ friendly and being committed to anti-racism is an absolute non-negotiable.
A little bit about myself: I grew up in Hong Kong, went to university in the States, worked for 2 years as a researcher in Hong Kong and am currently studying law. I enjoy reading, working out, and making vegetarian food (I don’t need potential roommates to be vegetarian, nor do I have issues with people cooking meat).
Re previous communal living experiences: I lived with roommates throughout university + I lived with my last flatmate for 2 years and renewed a lease together. Happy to provide references from my previous landlord as well!
